Healthy Pumpkin Pie Spiced Latte

This time of year it seems like everyone is waiting for Starbucks to roll out their Pumpkin Spice Latte. You may have heard that their latte doesn’t even have pumpkin in it, but they are fixing that this year.

I will admit I was once one of those crazed coffee addicts that counted down the days to have the ever so popular fall drink!  Not anymore!  I am ahead of the game!  Not only am I saving lots of money,  but also liquid calories!  Let me know how you like the healthier,  cheaper version!  Happy Fall!

Pumpkin Pie Spiced Latte serves 1
6 oz Steamed Unsweetened Coconut or Almond milk
2 shots of espresso or 1/4 cup of strong brewed coffee
2 Tbps pure pumpkin
1/2 tsp – 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp raw honey
1 tsp coconut oil

Brew espresso or coffee. Steam your milk to 160 degrees or warm in the microwave if you don’t have an espresso machine.  Put all the ingredients in a blender.  Blend until frothy.  Enjoy!

21 Day Fix: 2 tsp.  There isn’t enough pumpkin to make a purple and Autumn posted a video saying 8 oz of unsweetened almond milk is free. The 2 tsp comes from the coconut oil and the honey.  (Technically I don’t think you would need to count the honey, but I do.  It is on pg 15 of the eating plan book.)
